1.Software as a Tool

PaperSetu is provided solely as a specialized business productivity, record-keeping, and operational enterprise resource planning (ERP) tool designed for independent newspaper agency owners, hawker distributors, and delivery networks.

While the software provides automated calculations for newspaper billing, delivery rosters, pause periods, outstanding dues, and customer ledgers, the underlying operational accuracy depends on the data entered and verified by the agency operator, staff, and delivery boys.

2.No Direct Publisher Affiliation

PaperSetu is an independent digital software vendor. Unless expressly stated under formal partnership agreements, PaperSetu is not an agent, owner, publisher, or distributor of the newspapers, periodicals, or publications cataloged or managed by end-user agencies within the system. Trademarks, mastheads, logos, and publication titles referenced within customer accounts belong strictly to their respective publishing houses and copyright owners.

3.Financial & Accounting Disclaimers

The accounting ledgers, outstanding balances, GST summaries, and invoices generated by PaperSetu are designed to assist agencies in their day-to-day bookkeeping. They do not constitute formal chartered accountancy, legal, or statutory tax advice. Each agency remains independently responsible for filing their statutory taxes (including GST and income tax) in compliance with the laws of India.

4.Third-Party Integrations & Payment Gateway

Online transactions facilitated via the platform are handled by licensed payment aggregators (including Cashfree Payments) and their upstream banking networks. PaperSetu does not own or operate banking switches, UPI rails, or credit card networks, and disclaims liability for intermittent gateway downtime, bank server rejections, or unauthorized user banking activities.

5.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, PaperSetu and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from lost agency profits, data disruption, delivery discrepancies, or hardware failures.
